All police jobs are whitelisted and have extensive training, while as roleplaying as a police officer you are expected to be civil and maintain a level of composure throughout.
To become an officer, you must submit your application through our Emergency Services Discord. The command staff will review all applications, and you will be notified of the decision.
To be accepted into the police force, you must create a separate character specifically for policing duties. This character is for police roleplay only and cannot go "off duty." When using this character, you are expected to consistently roleplay as a police officer, adhering to the responsibilities and behavior expected in this role.
As a cadet, you will be required to request a ride-along with an approved Field Training Officer (FTO). This officer will guide you through the responsibilities and duties of being a police officer in our state.
Your training will be considered complete when the FTO and command staff agree that you are ready to be promoted to Trooper. The duration of this training may vary— it could take anywhere from 1 day to 1 week or even up to 3 months.
Please refrain from repeatedly asking when or if you will be promoted. Continuous inquiries about promotion may lead to dismissal from the program.
4-a. Transferring of Goods
You may not transfer any police goods to any civilian or non-police character. Transferring weapons or goods constitutes a federal smuggling crime and will be investigated by the Government.
4-b. Murder of LEO
You are NOT allowed to kill police officers at any time. If you are found intentionally killing an officer, you will be dismissed from your policing duties and sent to prison. This includes finishing off an officer who is downed and awaiting revival or death.
4-c. Overloading Items
Do not take excessive amounts of ammo, toolkits, spike strips, or first aid kits on patrol. While these items are not expensive, carrying too many increases the risk of criminals gaining access to police equipment.
4-d. Taser Use
Using your taser or stun gun to shoot officers is only allowed during authorized training sessions (PCSO Training). Doing this at any other time is strictly forbidden. You are also not allowed to use your taser or stun gun on any vehicle. Violating this rule will result in severe disciplinary action.
4-e. Police Chases
After initiating and roleplaying a traffic stop, the suspect may decide to flee. If this is the case the following rules apply.4-e-a. Timer
You MUST use a pit timer. While named "Pit Timer" it will determine when you are allowed to pit, spike or grapple. Officers in the vicinity of the player that started the pit timer will also be able to see the timer. If they get to far away from the chase, the timer will disappear. Multiple timers can be visible and started by officers. Once the timer is completed dispatch will confirm the go ahead.
You must have the plate locked on the front plate reader in order to activate the pit timer.4-e-b. Spike Strips
You may use spike strips after a pit timer has expired for the vehicle specified.
4-e-c. Grappler
Grapplers are limited per vehicle. Not all officers have access to grappler units. The grappler can be deployed and used after the pit timer has expired. A secondary officer should (should, not required) be on scene to exit the vehicle and demand the suspect exit while the grappling officer holds the vehicle.
4-f. AFK
Do not go AFK while on duty. If you must step away, log out of the MDT (or set your status to busy/unavailable) and announce on the radio that you are out of service. AFK timers are active in the city and are shorter for police officers. If you are found AFK while on duty, you may be subject to disciplinary action.
4-g. Police Corruption
Police corruption is strictly forbidden. If you wish to roleplay as a corrupt officer, you must obtain permission from management staff. Please open a ticket in our Discord and request approval before being accepted as a cadet.
